Mat Edick, PhD

Mat is a genetics researcher, public health professional, and a seasoned advocate for equity and inclusion for people of all abilities, and a newbie winemaker. Mat has had a long career leading community-based efforts and is bringing his combination of community-centered, inclusive, and equitable leadership to Lazy Goat Winery. Mat has lived in Mason, MI for more than 20 years and makes significant temporal and financial contributions to this establishment.

Cathy Edick, PharmD

Cathy is a pharmacist, a budding horticulturist, and an amazing baker. She is also a skilled craftswoman and will leverage that experience to oversee sales and all other retail operations. Cathy has lived in Mason, MI for more than 20 years and makes significant temporal and financial contributions to this establishment.

Elijah Edick

Elijah is a young man with Down syndrome. He is hard working, willing to help anyone, and has never met a human that he couldn’t connect with. Elijah is currently attending Mason High School in Mason, MI and will taking on a full-time commitment to Lazy Goat Winery after he completes high school. He will help manage the fruit crops, oversee production of products, and most importantly, be in charge of public relations.

Grace Edick

Grace has BA in business administration and a PhD in perseverance. She is a life-long equestrian and an advocate for inclusion. Grace oversees all financial operations and assures that financial policies at Lazy Goat Winery are both compliant with state and federal regulations, and are fair and equitable for our entire team. Grace was born and raised in Mason, MI.
